​John is a registered tax agent and Principal for Collective Works Taxation. His roles include undertaking engagements in auditing, compilation of financial statements, taxation and management consultancy. He has fifteen years of experience as a Q.A. reviewer with CPA Australia and has completed over one hundred reviews.

John has 20 years of experience as the non-executive director of an IT software product company with 250 employees. He was on the Board of Audit and Risk Management Committees. Previous experience includes being a lecturer at tertiary level in taxation law, accounting and financial management for 16 years, and has worked in the financial sector of industry as a finance manager at a public company..
